This presentation will include how the IDIC philosophy guided Star Trek characters into celebrating differences in race, culture, and ethnicity alongside gender, sexuality, socioeconomic class, physical ability, neuro-divergences and so much more, as well as Afrofuturism’s importance and influence in Star Trek and Star Trek fandom.
